Frequently Asked Questions
Clarity on how we teach harmony, voicings, rhythm, and improvisation with premium support.
How do private sessions work?
We begin with a diagnostic session to map your current chord vocabulary, time-feel, and ear training. You receive a tailored practice plan with voicing sets and progression labs. Sessions are scheduled weekly or biweekly based on your availability.
What level should I be at to start?
We welcome motivated beginners through advanced improvisers. Materials are segmented by level, and progressions are staged so you can hear and feel each layer before moving forward.
Do you cover rootless voicings and upper-structure triads?
Yes. You’ll build rootless voicings around guide tones and learn to add tasteful tensions using upper-structure triads in musical contexts, not in isolation.
How are materials delivered?
You receive high-contrast PDFs, focused video lessons, and session notes. Workbooks include voicing maps, comping patterns, and improvisation etudes with targeted rhythm drills.
How much time should I practice?
Most members progress steadily with 30–60 minutes a day, five days a week. The key is deliberate repetition of short studies instead of marathon sessions.
Do you offer group workshops?
We host small workshops with peer feedback loops. They center on comping, ballad reharmonization, and time-feel refinement. Limited seats to ensure depth.
Can I get feedback on my improvisation?
Yes. You can submit performance clips, and we provide focused notes on chord tone emphasis, phrasing, and rhythmic placement with specific next actions.
What is your refund policy?
Digital materials are non-refundable once accessed. For coaching, you may reschedule with 24 hours’ notice. See Terms for details.
